Support for social and organizational questions

Counseling during and after the illness

In addition to medical questions, a cancer diagnosis often brings organizational, professional, or financial challenges. The social counseling service of the Aargau Cancer League supports patients and their relatives in clarifying these questions and finding suitable solutions.

The counseling is confidential and tailored to the personal situation of those affected.

Support in everyday life

How social counseling can help

Social counseling provides support for various issues that can arise in connection with a cancer diagnosis.

These include, for example:

  • Questions regarding insurance and social benefits

  • Support with financial difficulties

  • Counseling on professional or labor law topics

  • Organization of support for daily life

  • Referral to further assistance services

The goal is to ease the burden on patients and their relatives in a stressful situation and to provide guidance.
